Own the product vision and strategy for edge AI experiences across vision, language, speech, and multimodal domains.
Be in sync with the dynamic landscape of LLM/SLM/MLM etc., models and be familiar with model compression techniques.
Define the vision for on-device multimodal AI (combining audio, voice, and vision) and align it with PC and mobile hardware capabilities.
Drive end-to-end strategy for software and hardware (including firmware) interactions, specifically focusing on how AI models impact power, performance, and battery life.
Manage critical performance trade-offs (e.g., latency vs. accuracy) to ensure AI features have minimal impact on power and performance and does not impact battery life.
Experience defining, developing, and delivering production-ready software applications that bridge the gap between high-level user interfaces and low-level system firmware.
Requirements
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
4 + years in technical product management, with at least 2+ years specifically in AI/ML or data-driven products.
Dual Success Metrics: The ability to track both product outcomes (user engagement) and model performance (latency, precision, recall etc).
Prototyping: nice to have: Proficiency in AI prototyping tools to demonstrate UX concepts for conversational or multimodal interfaces.
Data Strategy: Experience managing the data lifecycle—acquisition, labeling, and quality—to train reliable models.
Communication: Exceptional skill in translating complex AI concepts into actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
