Develop and maintain complex lifecycle cost models, including Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), and demand forecasting tools
Perform parametric cost estimating, regression analysis, and data normalization using historical datasets to identify cost drivers and trends
Evaluate design alternatives and assess costs across the full product lifecycle (development through end-of-life)
Interpret technical documentation such as blueprints, P&IDs, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to extract accurate cost inputs
Support warranty reserve planning and cost-recovery strategies through financial modeling and trend analysis
Generate pricing inputs and financial analysis for retrofit and upgrade programs
Analyze lifecycle cost trends, margin performance, and financial exposure to inform strategic decisions
Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess risk, quantify uncertainty, and determine appropriate contingencies
Develop and present clear, data-driven business cases to support lifecycle investment decisions
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to translate technical assumptions into commercial and financial outputs
Present and defend complex financial analyses to leadership and key stakeholders with clarity and confidence
Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost assumptions, estimates, and reporting
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Operations, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in cost modeling, lifecycle analysis, or operations analytics
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
Experience with systems such as ACEIT (or similar cost estimating tools), Power BI, and SAP ERP
Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
