Senior Financial Operations Analyst

Role Overview

• Prepare financial analyses and risk assessments including cost and profitability analyses and performance analyses
• Perform annual forecast, budget, and monthly close activities in collaboration with operating units
• Prepare financial and operational reports and create independent Decision Support reports
• Generate monthly dashboard reports and assist in report preparation for the board

Requirements

• 5 years accounting/finance experience in health insurance, hospital, and/or physician groups
• BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Advanced analytical skills, including ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and reach sound conclusions
• Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge in healthcare insurance industry, hospital operations, and/or physician practices
• Good project management and time management skills
• CPA or CHFP preferred
