Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs
Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies
Detects, and reports system errors and discrepancies, and analyzes and develops specifications for correcting errors
Assists in maintaining interfaces between commercial system vendors
Performs functionality and system testing to simulate end-user experience.
Performs exploratory testing and analysis for quality assurance before an application is released.
Identifies and proposes changes to systems and workflows
Leads facilitated sessions with business users to identify system enhancements
Documents and gains sign-off on business requirements
Communicates with project team members and external customers to ensure that critical information is shared
Assists in organization of release dates for all version updates with carrier systems
Creates training material and trains end users on systems enhancements and new programs

May require an associate's degree in a related area
0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the insurance field.
