Role Overview
Lead construction execution across multiple buildings; align progress to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and approved budgets
Plan and manage commissioning activities, including FAT/SAT, pre-functional and functional testing, punch list closure, and turnover packages
Coordinate BMS/OT integration, including alarm strategy, vendor interfaces, system handshakes, and data integrity
Direct field execution, resolve constraints, chair weekly progress and issue-resolution meetings, and maintain disciplined risk and change control
Ensure all permits, inspections, as-built drawings, and technical documentation are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
Validate quantities and progress for Schedules of Values (SOV) and pay applications
Enforce scope, cost, and change governance in coordination with Procurement, Commercial, Finance, and suppliers
Maintain accurate technical, commercial, and regulatory records throughout the project lifecycle
Lead and influence cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors without direct authority; set expectations and drive accountability
Partner with Operations, Industrial Engineering, EHS, QA, and A&E firms to ensure facility readiness and compliance with operational and regulatory requirements
Mentor direct reports responsible for daily site coordination and contractor management
Support sourcing, quoting, installation, and commissioning of capital equipment from a facilities perspective
Develop integrated industrialization plans, including utility hookups, interlocks, BMS/controls integration, pre-operational checks, acceptance testing, and handover to Operations with maintenance plans and spares
Develop dashboards, tracking tools, and reports to monitor schedule, cost, risks, punch list status, and readiness metrics
Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, decisions, and mitigation strategies
Support regulatory and third-party audits with complete, compliant, and audit-ready documentation
Requirements
5+ years in facilities construction and commissioning on large capital projects
Demonstrated experience with FAT/SAT, pre-functional/functional testing, BMS, SCADA, and OT systems
Ability to validate SOVs and pay applications; strong cost and change governance capability
Proficiency with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 and Bluebeam
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and suppliers without formal authority; strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Working knowledge of OSHA and facilities regulatory requirements
Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements, with ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance if needed
Travel: Ability to travel domestically up to 30%
