The Merchant Payment Services Market Manager is responsible for business development and sales within the Small Business and Branch Banking segment, focusing on developing a pipeline of opportunities and driving sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a pipeline of opportunities through various ways including self-sourced prospecting and partnering with Business Banking Specialists and Branch colleagues
- Focus sales efforts in the small business environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to travel
- Thorough knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations
- Experience with fintech, payments, or technology sales are preferred
- Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills
- Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
