Senior Technology and Human Rights Analyst

Role Overview

• Provide policy and technical guidance to stakeholders.
• Manage strategic engagements and public diplomacy efforts.
• Track issues related to Internet freedom and human rights online.
• Raise awareness through engagement with other offices and civil society.
• Monitor and analyze technology and human rights developments.
• Lead policies around export controls and emerging technology.
• Collaborate with external experts and represent U.S. government in forums.
• Draft public communications including speeches.

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with clear, professional communication.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and on teams.
• Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
