This position serves as the Lead Grant Manager within the Finance and Budget Administration Section (FABS) Grants Management.
This position involves financial and grant management for the statewide delivery of school readiness, voluntary pre-kindergarten and other programs as assigned by management.
This position includes researching and interpreting federal and state rules and regulations governing expenditures, cost principles, grants and administration of school readiness, voluntary pre-kindergarten and other programs and the ability to apply those statutes and regulations to ensure state and federal funds are properly expended.
As lead, this position is responsible for assisting with the development of the early learning grant agreement for early learning coalitions and RCMA, as well as statewide contracts with other subrecipients assigned by Division management.
Responsible for the reviewing of submitted invoices to ensure completeness and accuracy of expenditures and supporting documentation processed by the grant/ managers prior to submitting for payment.
Requirements
Professional contract or grant management experience
Must successfully complete training in contract management and become a certified contract manager within six months of hire in accordance with section 287.057 (15)(c), F.S.
Possess a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certificate.
Working knowledge and experience using MFMP, AOD, FACTS.
Working knowledge and experience with interpreting Rule, Laws of Florida, Florida Statutes; Reference Guide for State Expenditures; contracts and/or grants management; contract and/or grant budget and allowability; reviewing/processing deliverables and its expenditures/invoicing; monitoring/auditing of documents.
