Role Overview
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable for clients
- Reconcile client cash and investment accounts and perform month-end procedures
- Draft financial reports and conduct financial analysis
- Assist in the budget process
- Preparation of work papers and journal adjustments
- Perform analytical and detailed work with numerical data efficiently and accurately
- Utilize and develop a functional understanding of firm software and internal work flow/procedures to manage binder documentation and maintain client information
- Exercise discretion and judgment when working with confidential client matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA, or currently pursuing CPA, or plans to pursue CPA certification
- Experience processing AP, AR, and performing cash and investment reconciliations
- Experience with Sage Intacct and QuickBooks (QBO) preferred
- Experience in a government environment preferred
- Experience with grant funding preferred
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
