Liability Claims Representative

Role Overview

• Using claims systems to accurately document files
• Manage a diary and handle first and third party auto claims promptly
• Conduct thorough investigations,
• Confirm coverage, determine liability, and establish damages
• Negotiate the settlement of assigned claims
• Inspect damaged property and vehicles
• Estimate cost of repair or replacement for damaged or stolen property
• Determines and reports on subrogation potential
• Report theft, fraud, and arson losses as required
• Maintain job knowledge through intermittent training

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Successful completion of claims training program required
• Insurance Adjusters License in states where applicable required
• One year experience in a customer service related position preferred.
