Determine appropriate acquisition approaches based on DoD adaptive acquisition framework
Research, analyze, assess, and coordinate acquisition program documentation based on a selected adaptive acquisition pathway, including an acquisition strategy, acquisition program baseline, and acquisition decision memorandum
Develop acquisition documents, including the initial capabilities document, capability development document, acquisition strategy, acquisition program baseline, program management plan, acquisition decision memorandum, affordability estimate, analysis of alternatives, and cost analysis and requirements description
Track programmatic issues and risks to ensure they are addressed in acquisition documentation and assist with the development of status updates and briefs to program office leadership and external stakeholders
Provide overall acquisition process expertise and support to the team, including leadership, APMs, and support contractors, including reviewing for quality, completeness, and consistency of various acquisition documents such as Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, and Statements of Work
Facilitate the routing of acquisition documents and track and report the stakeholder review and signature process
Coordinate and review Team Purchase Requisition (PR) Drafts for new contract requirements and modifications to established contracts within the SPS PD2 system and generate SPS PRs for submission to a contracting office
Attend and support program leadership during bi-weekly Acquisition Metrics Forum with the program's Front Office
Maintain SharePoint Record Management for team's acquisitions
Provide quick turn-around research and response for data calls
Collaborate with government and support contractors effectively
Schedule stakeholders’ reviews and ad hoc meetings in Teams
Requirements
8+ years of experience with DoD acquisitions or contracts
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and Justification and Approvals
Ability to manage post-award contracts, including data records management, contract modifications, TI edits, burn rates, and financial tracking
Ability to be a self-starter, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
