Lead the full lifecycle implementation of commercial lending and credit platforms—from process definition through configuration, testing, and rollout.
Translate lending policies, underwriting standards, approval authorities, and risk models into system workflows, rules, data models, and control frameworks.
Configure credit lifecycle stages including intake, spreading, underwriting, risk rating, approval routing, conditions, covenants, testing, exceptions, and booking.
Design and implement approval hierarchies, delegated authorities, and exception handling logic.
Collaborate with vendors, system integrators, and internal technology teams to ensure regulatory and risk requirements are met.
Analyze existing lending processes to identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, and automation using Moody’s CreditLens or similar platforms.
Recommend scalable, pragmatic solutions aligned with system capabilities and business requirements.
Define when configuration is required versus manual handling for low‑volume or complex exception scenarios.
Support data mapping, reporting needs, and audit trail requirements to ensure transparency and compliance.
Serve as a key liaison between business, risk, operations, and technology stakeholders.
Facilitate design discussions with senior lenders, credit officers, and executive leaders.
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Commercial Banking , preferably in CRE/IPRE.
Deep understanding of the commercial loan origination and approval lifecycle, including roles of relationship managers, underwriters, and credit approvers.
Strong knowledge of: Commercial loan types, collateral, deal structures, credit documentation, and term sheets
Financial statement analysis (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow), spreads, ratios, combined financials, and global cash flows
Implementation & Configuration Experience implementing or configuring packaged platforms such as LOS, CRM, credit risk, or workflow/compliance systems .
Ability to convert business and credit requirements into workflows, rules, data elements, and approval logic.
Comfortable working in configuration‑driven environments with system/regulatory constraints.
Strong decision‑making ability within platform limitations.
