Perform routine and non-routine inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Conduct various tests using precision measurement tools and equipment to assess product attributes such as dimensions, functionality, and durability.
Document inspection results and test data accurately, maintaining detailed records for quality control and audit purposes.
Identify, report, and track non-conformances or defects, working with production and engineering teams to facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement projects by providing quality data insights and recommending process enhancements to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in quality assurance or manufacturing preferred.
Basic understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes.
Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Associate degree or certification in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 preferred.
Familiarity with computerized quality inspection software and data entry systems preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in the food and beverage industry preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
