Assessing the creditworthiness and financial stability of commercial members
Analyzing financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial data
Evaluating the credit risk of commercial members by assessing factors such as industry trends, market conditions, business performance, and management strength
Compiling detailed credit proposals outlining the findings of the credit analysis
Staying informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes
Working closely with Loan Officer and other stakeholders to gather additional information
Monitoring the performance of existing credit accounts
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management guidelines
Effectively communicating complex financial information and credit recommendations to decision-makers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
Extensive experience in commercial credit analysis, preferably in a financial institution
Knowledge of commercial lending practices, credit risk assessment, and financial statement analysis
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software as well as Microsoft Excel
