Support EXL’s Record Retrieval operations by developing, overseeing, and managing state‑specific subpoena and authorization protocols.
Ensure proper handling of subpoenas, attorney‑issued requests, HIPAA‑compliant authorizations, certifications, and legal correspondence.
Work closely with Operations and clients to ensure compliance, standardization, and enforcement of all SOPs across jurisdictions.
Manage subpoena and authorization driven orders, prepare legal documentation, and partner with clients to ensure timely and compliant record production.
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal or paralegal role with emphasis on subpoena processing and record retrieval.
Notary Public certification required.
Strong familiarity with subpoena procedures, HIPAA regulations, and medical record workflows.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with legal and document management software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong commitment to confidentiality.
Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and operations teams across multiple jurisdictions.
