Verify eligibility and benefits to acquire insurance authorizations prior to Transplant-related procedures.
Assist with patient billing inquiries, and insurance denial and reimbursement queries.
Monitor changes in regulations regarding payer reimbursement practices.
Provide financial counseling to patients and families.
Provide support to Finance Leads and Associate Director with data analysis projects.
Create and maintain databases to manage information for the department.
Generate reports from medical databases and CS Link data warehouse.
Perform daily reconciliation of hospital billing charges.

Transplant experience highly preferred.
High school diploma/GED required. Associate degree/College diploma preferred with courses in business, accounting, and computer science.
Two years in finance or equivalent office experience strongly preferred.
