Develops inventory equipment lists, conducts inventories, weighs aircraft, determines center of gravity of aircraft and documents results
Prepares Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual
Balances flight control surfaces
Develops standard flight load planning and helps direct airplane loading of variable load elements
Assists in the inspection of aircraft to calculate effects of actual weight and location of variable load elements on airplane gross weight and center of gravity and prepares flight manifests for pilot's signatures and flight release
Weighs and determines the centers of gravity of components and assemblies
Resolves routine problems with equipment, components and weighing systems
Requirements
3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of demonstrated experience with technical analysis
1+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite
5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
1+ years of experience in operations or maintenance of aircraft (preferred)
Associates degree or higher (preferred)
Experience with aircraft weight and center of gravity estimation, calculation, verification and statistical analysis (preferred)
