Collaborate with the central Sr. Manager of Clinical Health Services, and the local regional leadership team, align on a plan to achieve quarterly and annual nursing goals in accordance with regional targets in patient care, quality, and experience
Support the care team nurses with achieving these goals, to meet Oak Street Health’s high standards of patient care
In partnership with local leaders, support the recruitment and hiring of clinical staff, hiring for fit to our values, mission, and promote team diversity to ensure staff are reflective of the communities we serve, while developing a strong pipeline particularly for new centers
In partnership with the centralized training function, ensure consistent and comprehensive onboarding for new care team Nurses/ MAs/ Phlebotomists
In collaboration with nursing leadership, support the development of and own the local execution of ongoing nursing development opportunities including but not limited to nursing grand rounds, specialized training programs, and annual clinical competencies
Directly manages regionally-allocated MA and RN preceptors
Prioritize clinical team member retention by creating an engaging culture that inspires commitment and encourages excellence and strives for equity and inclusion
Remain knowledgeable of industry standards and state regulations, and monitor and review best practices as necessary
Advise the regional and central nursing leadership teams about performance, and opportunities to improve care outcomes, quality, experience, and employee engagement
Collaborate with Central and Regional Leadership in implementation of clinical operational standards and processes to streamline operations and patient flow
Work with the clinical and leadership team to implement and execute new clinical services and programs, including addressing gaps and providing feedback on program improvement
Leverage central policies and procedures, and refine locally as needed, for improvement of patient flow and safety
Ensure the patient safety program goals and standards are executed consistently in the supported centers

Requirements
Current license to practice as a registered nurse
Bachelor degree in nursing strongly preferred; Advanced degree preferred
US Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
5 years management experience preferred
Ability to independently manage and lead projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision, and ability to prioritize and effectively navigate multiple competing priorities
Demonstrated skill in problem solving, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and exceptional communication skills
A flexible and positive attitude, and a strong desire to change the traditional primary care paradigm
High emotional intelligence as evidenced by ability to evaluate/perceive a situation from multiple lenses and understand various perspectives in coming to problem resolution
