Execute and maintain Knowledge Management policies, taxonomy, and tagging standards within enterprise systems.
Establish accountability frameworks and partner with content owners to ensure governance guidelines are applied consistently.
Align system-level configurations, permissions, and workflows with organizational KM standards and data governance practices.
Partner with an initial group of content owners and system owners across key enterprise tools, serving as the primary liaison to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Work closely with system owners to regularly review and maintain content accuracy, currency, and structure.
Identify gaps, overlaps, and redundancies across content repositories to improve enterprise-wide knowledge consistency.
Oversee the periodic review and validation of key content and documentation.
Support content owners in applying KM best practices, including tagging, metadata, and archiving processes.
Implement version control and deprecation routines to ensure content remains up-to-date and relevant.
Partner with the AI and Enterprise Search teams to improve searchability, metadata accuracy, and tagging effectiveness.
Maintain and refine existing guidance, documentation, and training resources to ensure ongoing alignment with Knowledge Management standards and evolving system needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, Communications, Education, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, Information Architecture, Content Operations, or related governance roles in a cross-functional environment.
Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating knowledge across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., CMS, LMS, Salesforce, Confluence).
Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, tagging, and content lifecycle management.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams and levels.
