Communicate with LTL carriers to confirm pickups and deliveries exceptions and perform check calls in ProTrans’ TMS System.
Facilitate successful border crossing operation in conjunction with Border Crossing team and notify Customers about any deviation on customs process at the border.
Responsible for arranging the expedite shipment needs of the Customer and effectively communicating with ProTrans’ Expedite team.
Assist Customers plants with daily operational issue resolution.
Responsible for escalating service level issues to Operations Manager.
Communicate holiday schedules to customers and/or any internal adjustment at ProTrans.
Responsible for ensuring the customer is aware of any exceptions in performance, delays etc.
Responsible for ensuring reporting is distributed as necessary (daily, weekly, monthly)
Work with ProTrans’ Account Receivable team to secure billing process on a timely manner.
Logistics Plan Management: responsible for fully understanding the logistics plan for their customers.
Gather, understand, and submit complete changes/adjustments to the plan.
Requirements
+1 year of industry experience within logistics and supply chain and/or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation or business-related field.
Support with both ProTrans and Customer.
Strong ability in time management and the maintenance of several occurring tasks and projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (bi-lingual abilities in Spanish is preferred)
Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs.
