Role Overview
Conduct in-depth analysis of website traffic and user behavior using tools such as A/B testing platforms, Google Analytics, and heatmaps.
Identify areas for improvement in the conversion funnel and user journey, and develop strategies to optimize these areas.
Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop and execute conversion optimization campaigns, including landing page optimization, content optimization, and user experience improvements.
Conduct thorough research on customer behavior and preferences to inform conversion optimization strategies with both User Testing and on-site testing.
Perform A/B and multivariate testing to assess the impact of different optimizations on conversion rates and user experience.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization efforts.
Monitor website performance metrics, such as bounce rate, time on page, and conversion rates, and identify trends or issues that may impact conversion optimization efforts.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in conversion rate optimization and user experience design.
Collaborate with the web development team to implement technical changes and improvements to the website that will enhance conversion rates.
Provide regular reports and updates on conversion optimization efforts and results to stakeholders.
Requirements
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Proficiency in using web analytics tools such as Optimizely, Google Analytics, and Hotjar.
Solid understanding of conversion rate optimization principles and best practices.
Experience conducting A/B and multivariate tests.
Knowledge of user psychology and behavior, and ability to apply these principles to optimize website performance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to improve conversion rates.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Proficient in HTML and CSS.
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.
Familiarity with JavaScript.
Bachelor's degree in UX, Marketing, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
Proven experience in conversion rate optimization or a similar role.
Experience with web analytics tools and A/B testing platforms.
Strong portfolio demonstrating successful conversion optimization campaigns and results.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and their impact on conversion rates.
Familiarity with web development and design principles.
Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and conversion tracking tools.
