About this role
Role Overview
- Responsible for the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Provide key technical support to the Jaffrey site
- Specify and validate new equipment and materials
- Troubleshoot processes, manage projects, and implement process/product improvements
- Monitor and improve yields, resolve material issues, and customer complaints
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
- 3+ years of experience of process development/improvement and manufacturing in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO, FDA, etc.)
- Basic understanding of extrusion tooling and processes
- Good working knowledge of manufacturing methods
- Knowledge of precision extrusion, machining methods, tooling, and molding experience
- Experience with lean six-sigma manufacturing
- Proficient in Solidworks and/or comparable CAD software
- Familiar with design controls, FDA regulation, and GMP practices
