Designing production tooling such as jigs, fixtures, gages, and molds
Applying design and structural analysis principles using CAD/CAM software
Conducting research and preparing technical data packages
Utilizing engineering metrology equipment and implementing Additive Manufacturing techniques
Coordinating design activities to meet budget and schedule
Addressing design constraints and solving engineering challenges
Producing tool design drawings and technical data packages
Managing projects with general supervision
Excellent communication skills for technical documents interpretation

Bachelor’s Degree with four (4) years of aircraft tool design experience
Graduate Degree with two (2) years of aircraft tool design experience
In Lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of aircraft tool design experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience with Technical Data Package (TPD) Development
Model Based Definition (MBD)
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
