Provides strategic and operational leadership across the full commercial mortgage lifecycle
Owns monthly close, consolidated financial reporting, and portfolio analytics for internal leaders and external stakeholders
Establishes and maintains a strong control environment that supports clean audits, accurate reporting, and reliable, decision-ready information
Partners closely with Origination, Servicing, Treasury, Legal, Technology, and other key teams
Aligns accounting and servicing objectives with business strategy while driving continuous improvement in data quality, risk management, and stakeholder experience
Oversees loan servicing operations such as payment processing, escrow and tax administration, portfolio surveillance, and servicing data governance
Leads teams focused on efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in commercial real estate lending, underwriting, accounting, and/or loan servicing
Experience supporting commercial mortgage portfolios, preferably within a life insurance company environment
Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing accounting, reporting, and/or servicing teams
Strong knowledge of GAAP, statutory reporting, and CECL
Experience managing monthly close, journals, reconciliations, and analyses
Working knowledge of commercial real estate markets and loan servicing practices
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
CPA preferred
Occasional travel may be required
