Help ensure the facility operates effectively by providing support related to the facility, the athletics track, and various sports fields
Monitor participants during open training hours on the athletics track and during major athletic events
Work in accordance with applicable laws, policies, procedures, and related guidelines
Understand and follow the City of Ottawa's guidelines, policies, and procedures regarding customer service, cash handling, information sharing, sales, registrations, and facility bookings.
Requirements
High school diploma
Less than four (4) months of relevant experience required
Valid certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED
Technical knowledge of sports field marking (soccer, rugby, and football)
General understanding of the technical requirements needed to prepare for and run athletics meets
Computer skills and an understanding of the proper and safe use of equipment and power tools
Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, including workers' rights and responsibilities.
