Director of Operations – Higher Education

Role Overview

• Develop and execute solutions to meet customer needs for multiple locations
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food based on event-specific work orders
• Manage staff including selection, work allocation, training, and mentoring
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and execution of events
• Manage multiple teams ensuring quality presentation of food
• Develop effective client and customer rapport

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of food service and catering experience
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Uphold HR policies and procedures
• Solid knowledge of financials
• Proficient in MS Office
• Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Service Manager)
