Applies all policies and procedures as well as the safety rules established by management.
Ensures the park is well maintained and safe for users.
Supervises participants in the wading pool and surrounding areas.
Performs light maintenance of the facilities.
Checks water quality.
Offers activities and events appropriate to the participants' ages.
Carries out administrative tasks and responds to public inquiries.
Requirements
High school student – Grade 10 or above
Note: The student must be returning to school in the fall.
No related experience required – experience working with children (babysitting, after-school programs, leader-in-training programs, volunteer experience) is an asset
Valid Standard First Aid certificate, CPR Level C, and AED training
Knowledge of children's recreational development and needs
Familiarity with relevant health and safety legislation, including workers' rights and responsibilities
