About this role
Role Overview
- Drive procurement sourcing strategies and manage the bid process
- Negotiate the purchase of materials, equipment, and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the sourcing process
- Conduct RFPs and execute high complexity contracts
- Establish and monitor contract performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years related experience
- Demonstrated strategic sourcing / procurement experience
- Expertise in category area and understanding of purchasing and inventory systems
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or similar certifications desirable
