The Warfighter Readiness Training Systems Project Manager (PM) oversees the execution of complex programs or multiple related programs for AV's line of weapon systems trainers.
The role is accountable for cost, schedule, scope, and technical performance.
The PM works collaboratively with the Product Line Manager to manage the program life-cycle, all activities necessary to meet program development requirements and business objectives.
Working with Product Line Managers (PLMs), the role provides leadership in the development of program planning, top-down requirements definition, and cost/schedule/scope estimating for weapon systems training programs.
Ensures customer alignment and manage internal and external overall customer satisfaction.
Identify, analyze, and manage all program-level risk.
Lead program meetings and program reviews with the customer and executive staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management or related fields.
Have or in pursuit of PMP certification.
Must be able to interface effectively with internal teams as well as government and commercial customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
