Senior IT Consultant

Role Overview

• As a Senior IT Consultant at osapiens, you will be at the forefront of implementing our cutting-edge solutions for maintenance and field service operations. You’ll work closely with customers, guiding them from initial requirements gathering through system implementation, integration, and post-launch support, ensuring smooth adoption and long-term success.
• Leading IT projects end-to-end, ensuring they stay on track, on budget, and aligned with business goals, while keeping management and stakeholders informed throughout the process.
• Understanding customer challenges and business needs, define clear requirements, and ensure processes are mapped effectively to our solutions, documented in a clear business blueprint.
• Breaking down project scope into actionable tasks, configuring systems to meet customer needs, and coordinate any necessary custom developments with the team.
• Overseeing testing, including integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the system functions correctly before go-live.
• Guiding customers through the go-live process, providing support during the transition, and ensuring smooth post-implementation stabilization.
• Implementing solutions across both SAP and non-SAP environments, working with businesses of various sizes, industries, and global markets.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Project Management, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience in IT Consulting and Project Management, preferably in the supply chain, logistics, or related industries.
• Proven track record in managing complex IT projects and successfully delivering on time, within scope, and budget.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance, field service, or last-mile distribution; familiarity with SAP products is a plus.
• Experience working with the latest technologies and best practices in IT solutions, with a focus on system integration and process optimization.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for engaging with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience in SAP integration projects and deep knowledge of relevant SAP modules will be a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) and the ability to drive project governance and reporting processes.
• Fluent in English (C1) and proficiency in German (B2).
