Supports the daily management of the University’s social media presence.
Creates and schedules multimedia content across major platforms.
Monitors engagement and responds to comments.
Tracks performance metrics and maintains brand consistency.
Assists during crisis communications.
Coordinates with university departments and stakeholders for consistent messaging.
Attends campus events for real-time content capture.
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or equivalent experience.
One (1) year of professional experience in an institution of higher education or in education, higher education or other field that directly relates to the functions of the position.
Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva or similar platforms)
Exceptional writing and editing skills.
Demonstrated passion for social platforms and current trends.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Positive, collaborative attitude with ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
