Accountable for sales within the assigned territory, focusing on expanding Purina awareness and gaining distribution among veterinary clinics.
Conduct business reviews with clinics to assess performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Develop targeted plans for each clinic based on identified opportunities and execute those plans, tracking success with guidance from the regional manager.
Leverage analytical tools to evaluate business performance and drive results.
Promote Purina as a leading veterinary diet company, influencing veterinarians to recommend Purina products.
Develop and conduct online veterinary educational seminars on pet nutrition and Purina products for the treatment of healthy and sick animals.
Maintain a high level of nutritional knowledge to effectively influence the sales environment and leverage technology to assess and adjust investments in alignment with opportunities.
Report to the Regional Sales Manager regarding activities, competitive insights, and promotional feedback for pre and post evaluations.
Perform veterinary clinic coverage based on established call frequency and coverage plans.
Identify and sell incremental opportunities for Nestlé Purina Canada by leveraging national and regional initiatives.
Transmit veterinary clinic information directly into the sales system database for review, verification, and analysis
Requirements
2 + years of experience in virtual sales (phone or video) position within the vet, medical, healthcare or CPG industry
Valid full driver’s license and safe driving record is required. Open to occasional travel within the assigned territory.
Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience using Veeva CRM and Power BI tools is an asset
Post secondary education in Business, or Science related field
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of delivering
effective presentations to audiences of all sizes
Strong self-motivation and proactive mindset, with the capacity to think strategically to secure incremental business opportunities
