Associate Civil Engineering Technician – Water

Role Overview

• Supports engineering teams under general supervision
• Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
• Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
• Begins providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail while supporting continuous improvement and change management initiatives

Requirements

• Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience
• Diploma or Certificate preferred
• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
• Ability to create and modify site development plans
• Knowledge of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation)
