Role Overview
Assist in conducting client interviews to gather information on factors that can influence how inter-company transactions are priced.
Prepare economic analyses related to intercompany transactions, including the analyzing of third-party company financial data and client financial data to benchmark appropriate intercompany transactions, review of third-party agreements, and third-party loans.
Write industry overviews to provide context for a company’s current operating environment.
Participate and conduct functional interviews with clients and write descriptive functional analyses that are included in transfer pricing reports and documents.
Organize and summarize client provided information and takes interview notes and prepare detailed summaries for team members.
Proofread and edit reports prior to delivering to clients.
Write technical memos that describe the analytical process.
Manage deadlines for assigned projects.
Assist with preparation of internal and external presentations, research and training materials, and knowledge-sharing communications.
Participate in practice improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other relevant field of study
1+ years of transfer pricing experience and the desire to learn more about the industry
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Prior exposure to Go Systems, Bloomberg terminal, tax research databases (including Standard and Poor’s or Moody’s branded products) and/or other tax-related software is beneficial, but not required
Exceptional research and technical writing skills
Effective interpersonal skills and experience with presentations or public speaking with the ability to professionally communicate directly with clients
Capable of working in a deadline-driven environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously
