Serve as the bridge between marketing campaigns, inbound demand, and field execution.
Execute targeted outbound and inbound campaigns to generate high-quality leads and early-stage opportunities.
Research, map, and expand a robust pipeline of accounts, contacts, and qualified opportunities.
Qualify opportunities: Assess customer needs, timelines, budgets, and decision processes.
Partner with local sales/service teams and PacBio services providers to win projects.
Work closely with Territory Account Managers and Regional Sales Directors to ensure seamless hand-off.
Utilize CRM and marketing-automation tools to track activity and monitor pipeline health.
Feed real-time intelligence on market trends, competitive positioning, and customer pain points back to Marketing and Field Sales.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Genetics, or a related life-science field.
Solid grasp of genetics and molecular-biology applications.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or pipeline-focused roles within life sciences, genomics, or related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed pipeline-creation targets and renewal quotas.
Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
Relentless focus on building long-term customer relationships and revenue opportunities.
Enthusiasm for cross-functional teamwork with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
