Heavy emphasis on working with program management, engineering, supply chain, and key suppliers in sourcing and execution of orders for specific programs
Understand program level schedule, cost, and business requirements
Integrate into a cohesive direction to a material planning organization and supply chain function
Ensure timely and high integrity proposals, planning of materials
Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements to assure that cost, schedules and performance goals are met
Lead or support meetings and the integrated product and/or project team
Provide interface, communication and coordination with internal and external customers on existing contracts
Participate as a team member or leader on bid and proposal activities
Prepare for and participate in contract/subcontract negotiations
Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts/subcontracts
Regularly report program status to senior management
Identify, assess, monitor and mitigate risks throughout the program life cycle
Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or Business degree may be preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience depending upon the job discipline
Knowledge of program management tools and procedures
Exposure to the program lifecycle or components of development through sustainment
Exposure to earned value cost accounting and reporting
Strong customer interface skills
Solid problem solving skills
Strong presentation skills
Program Management certification preferred (i.e. PMP or DAU)
U.S. Citizenship required
Active DOD security clearance or ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
