This includes appropriate product selection, accurate entry and maintenance of orders, precise and safe product preparation, and safe loading of the customer’s vehicle, when applicable.
Consistently execute branch sales-focused activities to capitalize on selling opportunities and encourage customer loyalty to meet revenue targets
Learn and navigate various computer systems and applications for customer
and warehouse-related activities
Be agile in seamlessly transitioning from customer assistance to other diverse branch tasks, including safely performing warehouse and showroom duties for pickup or shipping
Perform housekeeping tasks as needed to ensure the branch appearance meets Grainger standards
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 to 3 years of experience in a related field preferred.
Bilingualism (English and French) is required due to the nature of this role.
Flexible availability to work at any time during branch hours
Ability to manage your own professional development, accept feedback, and proactively engage with your manager to support your growth
Ability to work in a physically demanding role: standing and walking continuously
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lb unassisted
Ability to learn and safely operate powered industrial equipment
Successfully complete initial and ongoing training in a timely manner, as required
