Create various legal and other types of documents by typing, transcription, scanning, or other methods
Perform proofreading and document verification
Compare different versions of documents
Respond promptly to requests, meet deadlines, and work cooperatively with other departments
Assist firm-wide with document preparation using the Microsoft suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Document, log, and process all calls, emails, voicemails, and visits
Review issues and procedures related to document production and support
Requirements
Bilingual in French and English
College diploma (office administration, legal specialization, or related field)
3 years of experience in a professional environment; document production experience is an asset
Knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and procedures is an asset
Strong attention to detail and excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills in both French and English
Strong interpersonal skills and tact on the phone; ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients of the Document Processing Specialists Group
Ability to convey knowledge in a pleasant, effective, and efficient manner using various techniques
Patient, flexible, and able to handle difficult situations effectively
Strong organizational skills, great attention to detail, and solid proofreading abilities
Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal relationships and work well under pressure and stress
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to visualize and present creative solutions
Ability to adapt to different work schedules (weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required)
Typing speed of 80 to 100 words per minute
