Prepare and analyze journal entries for IT department in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as established timeframes.
Provide reconciliation guidance and recommendations.
Assist with the forecast and annual budget preparation and work with IT leadership on any modifications or revisions.
Analysis of monthly operating results with an emphasis on operating expenses and capital expenditures.
Prepare monthly/quarterly supplemental accounting data and flux analysis for the Finance and Tax departments.
Manage IT fixed assets and leases.
Analyze and update objective allocation budgeting methodologies for relevant functional areas.
Assist with preparation and review requests for capital appropriations.
Supports purchase order creation ensuring proper accounting data.
Assist the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments on billing payment issues.
Perform other financial modeling and analysis as appropriate.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in business, finance, or accounting
Minimum of 3 years experience in a finance role
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high degree of accuracy
Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Excel, SAP, HFM, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills and proven aptitude for numbers
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner and the ability to work in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
