Role Overview
- Produce daily content on a variety of platforms, including broadcast, digital, and social media
- Work with a photographer or occasionally shoot stories on your own
- Stay abreast of the main sports angles of the day
- Pitch enterprise stories and compelling features
- Help guide the producers on how best to use your content
- Produce and anchor live sportscasts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- At least 3 years of reporting live and anchoring in a medium to large market
- Experience with HD video cameras, tripod use, and cell phone skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of AVID editing, content tools like Canva or CapCut, and I-News is a big plus.
