Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team in planning and implementation of federal healthcare contracts including patient safety and health services related programs
Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and effectively communicating possible project risks/delays to reduce impact to overall value delivery
Manage project budget, project team capacity allocation, project evaluation/assessments, and project deliverables
Assist in the definition of project scope and goals as well as identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects
Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress within a project including selectively delegating tasks to employees best positioned to complete them
Translate federal program operations into actionable practices, fostering partnerships between major stakeholders, and handling various contract types
Provide operational oversight for multiple ongoing tasks, ensuring alignment with national program vision, communicating with executives, the board, and other stakeholders to keep the project goals aligned
Lead multiple stakeholder meetings including preparing and delivering presentations
Contribute to solution and architecture design for healthcare technology projects, ensuring alignment with program requirements and project efficiency efforts
Performing quality control on the project to maintain the standards expected, including adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed
Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time
Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
Oversee reporting of Earned Value Management (EVM) to assess project performance and progress
Lead the innovation track that will result in organic growth for the project
Provide proposal support for new opportunities
Participate and contribute to capturing opportunities in the same domain/agency
Support your team providing resources they need to do their job
Oversee and participate in goal setting and yearly performance reviews for your team
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business, Health Services & Sciences or a related field.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust (Tier I) Clearance.
Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of professional and technical experience supporting federal government clients preferably CMS Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or similar.
Proficient in MS Office desktop publishing and document formatting tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Proven success as a people leader, including experience managing large projects with many staff members and activities.
Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum).
Proven client management experience.
Must demonstrate a detailed understanding of multiple federal & non-federal stakeholders with the proven ability to conduct multiple stakeholder meetings, preparing and delivering presentations on tasks.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
