Design end-to-end workflows for AI-powered conversational interfaces, including agent configuration, conversation management, and intelligent recommendations.
Collaborate with our lead designer on the UX and UI design for the Admin Center overhaul, simplifying complex configuration workflows for non-technical university administrators.
Create and iterate on student-facing experiences that surface personalized content, events, and resources across web and mobile.
Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA (or higher) accessibility standards, supporting Pathify's commitment to inclusive design and ADA Title II compliance.
Develop and maintain reusable design patterns and components in Figma, contributing to a shared design system.
Conduct (along with our Product Analyst) user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to ground design decisions in evidence.
Partner with Product Owners to translate requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
Requirements
3-5 years of product design experience in a SaaS or platform environment, with a portfolio demonstrating both UX and UI work.
Deep proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variables, and prototyping.
Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and experience designing for diverse user needs.
Experience designing complex configuration or admin interfaces where usability for non-technical users is critical.
Comfort working in a remote, cross-functional team with asynchronous communication and self-directed work.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly in writing and presentations.
A collaborative, low-ego mindset that values shipping great products over defending personal preferences.
Nice to have experience in higher education technology (edtech) or working with institutional customers.
Familiarity with designing AI-powered or conversational UI experiences.
Experience contributing to or building design systems at scale.
Understanding of front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS, component-based frameworks) sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers.
