Conduct biological field surveys and construction monitoring in AZ, CA, NV, and NM
Compile available research data and evaluate applicability to specific project sites
Vegetation mapping and habitat characterization
General habitat assessments and surveys for plant and wildlife species
Work as a member of our team in the preparation of technical reports and studies including biological constraints analyses, wetland delineation reports, and biological resources technical reports
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, botany, or related natural resources field, or equivalent experience
Experience in performing biological surveys, or a willingness to learn
Background and/or coursework in biological field methods or biological science
Ability to hike in harsh desert conditions for many days at a time
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment
Wildlife survey experience in CA, NV, AZ, and/or NM preferred
Must demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with an interest to learn and grow as a project team.
