Develop and own the enterprise applications strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligned with ECI's business and technology objectives.
Assess the current application landscape (Workday, Salesforce, M365 and related tools), identifying gaps, redundancies, and modernization opportunities.
Build business cases and ROI analyses for major initiatives (e.g., new modules, platform expansions, consolidations, or replacements).
Partner with the CIO and IT leadership to ensure enterprise applications support ECI's scalability, customer-centricity, and operational efficiency.
Maintain a portfolio view of all enterprise applications, including ownership, cost, usage, lifecycle status, and risk.
Make retain/enhance/consolidate/retire recommendations to optimize business value and total cost of ownership.
Own key vendor relationships (Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft, and other major SaaS providers); oversee contracts, renewals, and license management.
Ensure alignment of tools and platforms with enterprise architecture and security standards.
Lead or oversee enterprise application projects: implementations, major upgrades, module rollouts, and cross-application initiatives.
Establish and manage intake and prioritization processes for enhancements and new requests in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Drive effective change management, including stakeholder communication, impact assessment, user training, and adoption strategies.
Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise applications, meeting or exceeding SLAs.
Oversee application support processes: incident management, service requests, and problem management across Workday, Salesforce, M365, and related systems.
Champion continuous improvement, identifying and delivering enhancements that streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve user experience.
Serve as a trusted partner to leaders in Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, translating business needs into scalable system solutions.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to harmonize and standardize processes where appropriate, leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities before customizations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of progressive experience in IT or enterprise applications roles.
5+ years in a leadership/management capacity, including managing managers and distributed teams and/or contractors.
Significant hands-on or leadership experience with at least two of the following platforms (more is a plus): Workday (HCM and/or Finance), Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, or related clouds), Microsoft 365 (including governance and adoption at scale).
Demonstrated success delivering large-scale SaaS application projects (implementations, major upgrades, or transformations) in a growing organization.
Strong understanding of core business processes across Finance, HR, Sales, and Marketing, and how they are enabled by enterprise applications.
Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders, manage competing priorities, and make data-driven decisions.
