Surgical Center Compliance Specialist

Role Overview

• Ensure compliance with regulations governing Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) and Office-Based Surgery (OBS)
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify compliance issues
• Investigate and resolve compliance concerns and complaints
• Prepare detailed compliance reports for management
• Monitor changes in healthcare law and update policies accordingly
• Develop and deliver compliance training to employees
• Keep accurate records of all compliance activities
• Work with various teams to ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility – preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA
• BSN Degree
• Strong ability to analyze and solve compliance issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
