Maintain accurate and traceable inventory of all raw materials and finished product
Generate ideas and assist in the implementation of initiatives to improve quality and delivery
Operate forklifts to retrieve, move and store food products, equipment, or other materials
Adhere to GMP, Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations and policies
Drive to deliver prompt, accurate information regarding warehouse inventory levels
Complete all required paperwork and SAP transactions for material movement
Collaborate and support colleagues in Plant IC
Mentor Forklift Drivers in safe and accurate work output
Create and complete cycle counts as directed by the local supervisor
Monitor transitory bins and complete investigations and corrections in SAP
Complete special projects as assigned by the warehouse supervisor
Act as lead support for finance personnel during physical inventories
Requirements
A minimum of two (2) years of experience required driving a forklift in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to successfully complete Warehouse Inventory Specialist evaluation/provision process
Ability to be trained and learn required transactions in SAP for inventory control
Food manufacturing experience preferred for external hires
Internal BRF experience which required certification and operation of a forklift or stand-up walk behind unit will also be considered towards experience.
