About this role
Role Overview
Become technically proficient in OMICRON products and solutions.
Develop, maintain, and foster customer relationships as required for assigned accounts and segments.
Coordinate customer visits and activities, make presentations, demonstrate products, technologies, and test methodologies.
Provide post-sale customer support.
Participate in business development, market evaluation, and sales forecasting.
Record and maintain all customer meetings, leads, opportunities, and activities per the OMICRON Sales process.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in power systems, especially in the field of power system protection or high voltage apparatus. NETA Level IV is a plus
Minimum 1 year of sales experience in selling testing equipment, instrumentation, or apparatus for the electric power industry
Participation in international, national, regional, and local conferences, exhibits, or seminars.
Technical knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
Technical knowledge of testing methodologies and maintenance practices.
Solid working knowledge of MS Office – especially Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.
Excellent written, speech, presentation, and negotiating skills required.
Able to travel domestically (up to 50%); international travel may be required.
