Manages the Program/Project Management Office (PMO) by driving program and project management best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
Tracks the status of all projects and manages escalations, project budgets, and reporting.
Ensures that program and project management processes are applied consistently and effectively across all assigned initiatives.
Creates and applies standardized project management methodologies, including project definition, planning, risk management, project control, and change management, to ensure a repeatable project delivery process.
Collaborates with senior management to establish program and project priorities, and ensure IT initiatives align with business goals and objectives.
Creates tools for project planning, delivery, management, tracking, communication, and key performance metrics.
Monitors, tracks, and reports on the status of programs against budget, timelines, and scope to program/project teams and leadership.
Evaluates and mitigates overall program risks.
Forecasts the potential impact of program initiatives and enhancements.
Designs and enhances the delivery and results of programs/projects by developing program/project management, requirements management, and change management best practices, processes, tools, and techniques.
Establishes and manages the IT release calendar and synchronizes each release with external systems.
Leads, mentors, and manages assigned staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
6-8 years of progressive operational leadership experience, ideally within an A/E/C or professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of project-based business operations, resource planning, and financial management.
Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing multi-office operations.
Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution.
