Facilitate and guide one or more Scrum teams in the adoption and effective implementation of the Scrum framework and Agile best practices
Support Program Increment (PI) Planning and ART-level events in coordination with the Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Partner with Product Owners and workstream leads to translate epics and user stories into actionable, prioritized backlogs aligned with program objectives
Promote transparency, communication, and alignment across cross-functional teams including engineers, security specialists, product managers, and government stakeholders
Track sprint progress, team performance, and delivery metrics; provide regular updates on status, risks, and improvement opportunities
Identify and remove impediments and blockers, proactively resolving issues to keep teams on track
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders in Agile principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
Advise government personnel and delivery partners on Agile adoption, process standardization, and digital transformation best practices in a federal environment
Ensure team activities remain aligned with the program’s mission to deliver scalable, sustainable, and impactful digital solutions for Veterans
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale digital transformation efforts, preferably within federal or highly regulated environments
Proven ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills with experience removing impediments in complex, fast-paced programs
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
