Delivers a superb candidate experience that begins with the initial phone call all the way through delivering onboarding
Creates, compiles, or designs services and events that communicate the organization’s information, services aligned by mission; builds and manages employer branding and visibility to external candidates.
Implements recruitment processes related to the recruitment cycle, vacancy announcement, screening, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and informing employees of their hiring status.
Coordinate logistics for career fairs and other Talent Acquisition activities, as necessary.
Supports the onboarding process for new hires, transfers and temporary staff.
Competes new hire paperwork and background checks.
Creates new employee files and ensures paperwork is complete and in compliance.
Enter employee information/changes in ADP Workforce Now.
Performs file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason in HRIS System.
Supports coordination of the new hire process (schedule appointments, process paperwork, identity and verify credentials, ID card creation, fingerprint scheduling)
Conducts review of employee documents and ensures all required clearances are met in accordance with funder and agency requirements
Assist with performing employee background checks including but not limited to: Fingerprinting appointments, Statewide Central Registry Checks, Sex Offender Registry Checks, SEL, Streamline Verify, and SSN
Works integrally with associated teams to create, manage coordinate and deliver New Hire Orientation training (globally) to internal and external partners and customers.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1-2 years of experience as an HR Assistant plus 1 year of experience in Recruiting
Ability to work in a high-volume environment, including ability to balance priorities and meet important deadlines
Strong attention to detail and follow through
Effective communication and customer service skills
Bilingual Spanish preferred.
